2. Islamic Funeral Homes

There are two Islamic Centers in the area they offer the use of their facilities for Ghusl ( washing ) for the Muslim community of the bay area.

It is mandatory to show an official burial permit to the official of the Islamic Center in order to accept the deceased body for Ghusl at their facilities.

Costs

The center offers the facility for Ghusl ( washing ) the deceased, supply the washing material and the Kafan for either male or female and allows for the usage of their Casket for transportation only and must be returned after the burial.

The cost is $100.00 paid to the Islamic Center. The Washer will be paid separately. During the Ghusl there is a need for help. The Washer is requesting three persons must be with him at that time.

Costs

The center is offering a complete Funeral service as describe in the next page and the estimated cost is about $ 2,085.00.

Also the center is offering a partial funeral service, such supplying the Kafan, the washing material and labor to perform a complete Ghusl. The cost for the service is about $ 1,000.00

If there is a need for Casket to transport the deceased body the cost is about $ 200.00. It will be paid separately because the center does not allow the usage of their Casket in this case.
